Do the Work of Him That Sent You

In all my years of growing there has been a call to service; from the Lord.
He wishes me to become a missionary of sorts to the people around me.
I am to project the positive things that the Lord has for others,
It is my position to serve Him as best I am able and with all my heart.
Remember so well the times I would visit the ladies of the church.
I would spend some time with them and share the good news of how things were going for me.
Fourteen at the time, I was always there doing something to brighten a person's day.
Felt positive and  was exuberant of serving the Lord for all I could offer Him.
There was a positive action I was doing and it made the people smile.
One of the  things I used to do was to visit the shut ins.
They had no where to go and were lonely.
This was part of the work I did of Him that sent me.
There was a happy time for me with the doing of this that  I was asked to do.
The time has come for me to be working still but at the computer and not on the outside.
I am unable to do most anything these days except be on the computer and write what I was to write for the Lord.
He has blessed it and used it for His glory and I am extremely happy He has.
