 Penniluck's legacy

Specially Delivery

Born on 14/5/14 at 3.37 pm weighing 7lb 3oz. To my great grandson Stanley Carter Prince, born in his Nana`s car after she pulled over to the side of the road within walking distance of where his Mum was born. Fortunately my daughter Angela is a midwife, though none the less surprised at that. Congratulations to all, and welcome home our little Prince. love always Grammy xxx

Special Delivery

Special delivery weren`t you
Scared the pants of Mum
Shouted on your Nana
Oh come and take me home

Your Nana is a midwife
Drove like the bats of hell
Then pulled into the roadside
And delivered you as well.

Just outside where Mum was born
You came home clean and fast
Surprise is not the word for it
But glad you`re here at last

Just like royal babies
You chose like none have since
That it was time to see the world
My lovely little Prince.

So what if it messed up the car
Your nana is so proud
So am I my laddie
And shouting it out loud

Grace your Mum and Matt your dad
Are so very happy
Could not believe they could conceive
A laddie quite so snappy

Your Granda woke up rubbed his eyes
Heard the amazing tale
Of how you came into this world
And everyone called Hail!

One day when you`re fully grown
Have children round your knee
What a story you can tell
How Nana set you free.

What address I wonder
Will they certify
Was where you came into the world
Will it be `Lay-by`.

Special delivery Royal Prince
Nana and Mum so brave
Bet for all the rest of time
They will be your slave

Have a lovely happy life
Make all your dreams come true
Hugs and kisses my sweet Prince
From Grammy, just for you
