THOSE SOUTHERN BOYS

They give me toys
Those Southern boys
Mud bogs and music
I know how to use it

To lead me to better
Writing poem letter
Keeping it Redneck
'Cause: what the heck!

Else---is there?
To excite her
Turn her nineteen
Make the pain less mean

Colt Ford---a Hick-Hop King
Average Joe's Entertainment scream
It yells for me
Then I'm flying free

The Lacs tell me to "Shake it"
Have fun---don't have to "fake it"
The pleasure in the Southern kind
Almost like part of divine

Humility
That sends me
To another time and place
Where grace

Abounds
In Hick Hop
That can be found
Send it around

To this hippie skippy
Sometimes trippy
Writing this darn poetry
To be set free

From things I cannot control
Let the Hick Hop roll
Then this woman can understand
God's plan

On an almost Summer Day
So far away
North and West
Those Southern Boys are my guest

Redneck Souljers take my heart
Even have a part
That plays in this soul
Those Southern Boe's roll

All over my senses
Diggin' tators and mending fences
Between the North and South
What good Hick Hop fun's about

It's not going down today
With Lenny Cooper here to play
He's got "BIG TIRES"
To set this Hick-Hop flame afire

With the love
From my sky above
Flying all the way
To my Southern Boy's today.
