Dream of The Blue Racers

little blue racers
she used to call them
scuttling across the
bathroom floor

why would karma create
a creature like this
to abhor
the bane of lonesome
housewives

imagine being the worst
kind of woman
of man
and then reincarnation has for you
another plan
to come back
as a little blue racer

so soft of body and fearful of
the light
condemned to the corners the slime
and the night

ugly homely silverfish
God created for what purpose
but none

see how unhappy you seem
see how you run
