Mom Was An Humble Lady

The things I could tell you about Mom would be somewhat hard to believe.
But the greatest thing is Mom was always an humble person.
She held her hand over her eyes while she prayed.
It was as if she was looking toward Heaven when she prayed and seeing the beauty of it she couldn't look upon it.
This is the kind of lady Mom was and remains to be; in my heart of hearts.
I haven't forgotten the love that she had for me as her son.
It was one that was hurt at times and the negativity was there for me to experience  but the love was never more real.
In spite of my carelessness, Mom always loved me.
There was a sense of happiness among the sorrow when she passed away.
I knew where Mom went to and that she'd be there for always.
This is the where the happiness came.
Mom was an humble lady when she cried.
Tears would well up in her eyes and she would hide them  from my dad.
He wasn't against her crying or anything he had a resentment against the perfunctory crying done on TV.
It was a great blessing to see the two of them together and know how much in love they were for the other.
This was part of Mom's humbleness that she had about herself.
Beautiful was Mom and everyone around us knew it.
Mom never thought of herself as being beautiful but being the same person she'd always been.
I could go on and on about Mom and the humbleness of her but suffice it to say I never knew of someone so humble as she.
