Mrs. Bailey was known as a child as Ruth Webb.
She grew up in a prominent home and was well educated.
With her marriage to Mr. Josiah Bailey, they had two children.
A daughter and son each was their's to train.
The daughter's name was taken from her mother's first name.
While the son was taken by the dad's first name.
I am elated in having known all four of these great people.
My former sister-in-law was Ruth, the daughter.
I still consider her to be my sister and loved very much.
The tenure of Mrs. Bailey is found in her singing for her Lord.
Eighty years of singing for Jesus has afforded her a place of recognition.
I am deeply moved to know that a lady could have been singing this long a time but it is so true.
Mrs. Bailey will always be referred to as Mrs. Bailey for her heart is so pure and wonderful.
She has a love for the Lord as I have never witnessed in anyone.
I am aware that she is a saint and is a fellow believer in Jesus.
This is what separates her from all other people in my way of thinking and revering her.
She is a credit to the people who know her and to her community.
I am sure that one day she will reign over a group of people that the Lord will choose for her.
For she has the capability to serve her Lord and faithfully serve Him she does.
Bless you, Mrs. Bailey, for the lady you are to so many including myself.
