A prisoner in the Lord,
For being of one accord;
Start living the kind of life,
That gives you spiritual strife.
Start living the life that proves,
That with the Lord it behooves;
Being gentle and humble,
Not causing you to grumble.
Be patient with each other,
Loving one to another;
Through the flowing peace that binds,
As to soothe and ease the minds.
Do your best to unify,
The Spirit does signify;
For being in one accord,
As one body in the Lord.
You were called to share one hope,
That means one faith that must cope;
The iniquities on earth,
With given a second birth.
There is one faith and one Lord,
One baptism one accord;
Jesus Christ as your Brother,
Having one God and Father.
God looks on us with favor,
Gave His Son as a Savior;
Measured out to us by Christ,
The time He was sacrificed.
Christ went to the highest place,
And then God had shed His grace;
He caught who held us captive,
And gave gifts to us to live.
