Lyle B., and the Sunny Sunday

I believe that all the days we have in a week that Sunday was most important to Lyle.
I am able to visualize him getting ready for church and make the drive there.
His lifetime partner always drove the family car.
But it was Lyle who did the other things to make a house a home.
I do believe that Lyle enjoyed Sunday so much that he would after church make the meal and then look at the Sunday paper.
Lyle was very astute to peruse the paper every Sunday at his leisure.
It was a joy that he had experienced a lot of times before his passing.
I can remember so well the many times I would call and he'd be reading the paper.
It was a joy to him and not a drudgery of any sort.
He was a man who was informed and concerned about our nation's affairs.
He was a man who was caring and sensitive to the issues of the day.
I miss Lyle B., and will go on missing him for he is no longer here.
