Love sincerely and hate evil,
Do not consort with the devil;
Hold on to knowing what is good,
Do onto others as you should.
Be devoted to each other,
Loving each one as a brother;
Excel in showing your respect,
Never to ignore or neglect.
Do not be lazy to display,
Your devotion throughout each day;
Use energy to serve the Lord,
Show that He is loved and adored.
Be happy within your confidence,
Showing your self-obedience;
Be patient when there is trouble,
Eager to help never grumble.
Pray constantly without ceasing,
Intensify by increasing;
If things are changing for the worst,
And feeling if you have been cursed.
Share what you have with those in need,
With fellowship showing indeed;
Be hospitable show you care,
With what you have able to share.
Bless the ones who persecute you,
Remaining calm and kindness through;
Give blessing and do not curse them,
For their actions do not condemn.
Be happy with those who are glad,
Take pity on those who are sad;
Show them that they are not alone,
Suffering never on their own.
Live in concord with each other,
On-key with one to another;
And friendly to humbled people,
Remaining true to the Gospel.
