Poetic-Verses

'' I'm A Literary Entrepreneur ''

I start my work with thoughts in my head,
Then I feel like a jerk when my brain plays dead,
I think what a berk I'm so easily led,
The troubles I have to endure.

When it starts to flow I'm then on a mission,
I watch it grow it's my latest edition,
To be in the know does take a magician,
It's like a being on a mystery tour.

The subject matter with which I began,
Was as mad as a hatter it just ran and ran,
It didn't flatter so it's flushed down the pan,
I'm afraid there was no cure.

As I start once more I change my route,
It is such a chore my words don't compute,
There's trouble in store in my latest pursuit,
Will I finish it, I'm not so sure.

The ideas are there but they can't be written,
It's driving me spare but I'm totally smitten,
I'm fully aware by the bug I've been bitten,
But my writings are so obscure.

It's a form of cramp deep inside the brain,
Being blocked by a clamp can be such a drain,
Then on comes a lamp and the words start to rain,
Suddenly it has a certain allure.

My masterpiece is complete I feel so relieved,
Not once did I cheat this is what I've conceived,
I refused to retreat in myself I believed,
