Time Won't Heal A Broken Hearted Me
There is a song Anne Murray sings of a broken heart.
It fits so well for myself today because of a past person; in my life.
I felt that they loved me and wanted to be with me for all time.
Come to find they were playing mind games.
Something I don't have time for are mind games.
They get your nowhere and they are a deterrent to a person's health.
I have stated to the person who has hurt me that I didn't want them.
It will take time to get over them but I must.
Time won't heal a broken hearted me for anything.
I know my heart will let someone else in it for a time and see if they will ever hurt me.
It is hoped that I will not have to be hurt again.
For there are lessons to be learned from the past mistakes and I have learned from them.
