I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Celebrating the Life of a Great Man Named Lyle B.
I have stated before Lyle's involvement with the Armed Forces.
I have shared with you the way he took care of the house he owned.
He was a wonderful man of whom my life was full.
He loved the Lord with all of his heart and soul.
He was a good Christian man with great values.
I celebrate his life today for the man he was and remains to be for me.
I subscribe to the notion that because a person has died isn't the end of him or her.
They will carry on; in the next life, and be rewarded for their faithfulness.
I love to think of my life continuing on for me when I am gone in my work.
For my poetry that the Lord has allowed me to write will speak for me when I am gone.
The same is true of Lyle in the things he did as a great man.
May you come to know a person like I have with Lyle and see the greatness in that person.
