IT'S THE ROPER BOOTS

Blasting "KEEP IT REDNECK"
By THE LACS
It's in the afternoon
The spirit of music macks
With my soul
Then these ropers
Roll out tapping on
A wooden floor
Then I know there's
More
Than the cars, malls, money
There's that important
"Kiss a$$" attitude
In this soul, honey
With boots clicking
A country chickie-chickie
Kind of chicken
A mother hen
Flapping 'round this
Barnyard music
Of my friends
Writing poetry to
Their beat
Makes this mama
Sweetest of sweet
Black heels on
These boots leavin'
Big Black Clouds
With my dogs
In the dirt
Snapping fingers
To them
They twirl and they flirt
Loving this music too
Called Southern Muddy Dirt Music
I use it
In ropers, cut-offs and a
Hundred-dollar
Blingy belt
Such joy I've felt
Just wearin' boots
Wild youth shoots
Out of my brain
Slightly insane
 It's okay
I'll live another day
Livin' Southern bliss
In his Northern place
Blowin' dogs a kiss
Right to their face
Tappin' roper boots
On a wooden floor
Can't help but give me
That "kiss a$$" feeling
So adorned.
