The day you fell asleep and stayed
Where all must go away someday
Nears again, just days ahead
Inside my heart, memories spoon fed
There are no words that can confess
The lack of you, upon me pressed
But if one thought becomes this day
Of you I keep closely I'd say
When breath is sought I seek once more
Upon, just past my hearts front door
Here where you still keep and breathe
This life through GOD your womb conceived
A simple and a humble soul
A piece of you that I still hold
Close though time your presence stole
Here upon creation yours
Here on earth where you endured
The chapters of a mother's life
Mother and too my father's wife
You left but still are well remembered
Kept safe are things we won't surrender
Of you and me as each child keeps
Memories before you went to sleep
The greater good has hold of you
Knowing this well comfort brings too
Our hearts and minds that you are there
Along with those you once missed here
Another write where words now come
To end this day by loving son
To let you know that though you left
We keep of you what Heaven blessed
Mother we miss, six hearts confess
Sibling's mine you gave birth to
Each one with wish to draw unto
If just a glimpse, if just a moment
To hug you close, to ease loss torments
But smile we must for in His hands
Are you and those now healthy stand
Awaiting those who loved you so
Awaiting six your love well sowed
Dear mom, Elvira
Always on our mind, forever in our hearts
