I Once Was Blind But Now I See
Life With Lyle B. Is a Treasured One
Life with Lyle is a treasured one for it was a special time for me.
I use the term was for the fact that Lyle is not here any longer.
He was called away over a year ago.
He left behind the love of his family and his partner of thirty-one years.
Also was another person to whom he cared and that person is me.
There was a love that innate within him that spanned the distance of time and location.
He gave of himself every time he would do the confections he would prepare,
Two Christmases he gave to my dad and myself the blessings of his cooking and what a great time it was.
There was joy and happiness in having met him personally.
I am overjoyed and elated the love that emanated from him was genuine.
I will always remember the kindness he gave to all of us.
It is a gift that has carried on for him since his passing.
May you know of someone who is like Lyle B. and if you do then share with that person the love you have for them.
