THE REFLECTION OF A TORTURED SOUL

sparkle
Consumed - (A Tale of Bereavement)

Consumed…
Tears that over flow,
Emotional overload...
I can't imagine the pain and the fear you went through,
The strength it took to carry on when all control was gone.
The fear of acknowledging & realising that ‘no one' could save you from the clutches of death.

Consumed by helplessness… I wish I could have saved you!
Consumed by powerlessness… I wish I could have cured you!
Consumed by guilt… I wish I could have suffered & died for you!
But most of all… consumed by the love that I will always carry deep in my heart for you!!

Gone but never forgotten!
