I want you to know,
What I may have planned;
So I need to show,
Just where I do stand.
I kept from doing,
Wanting to savor;
But still pursuing,
Words of my Savior.
I want to follow,
So I can enjoy;
Able to wallow,
Being an envoy.
Let me see results,
In working with you;
Enduring insults,
From the lies they spew.
So I do my best,
In striving forward;
With no time to rest,
For spreading the Word.
It is my duty,
To spread the Gospel;
Are shown the beauty,
Of Christ to people.
Civilized or not,
To the wise and fools;
People must be taught,
The Biblical rules.
So I am eager,
To say how to live;
You are a seeker,
How God does forgive.
I am not ashamed,
Telling the Good News;
And why I proclaimed,
To willfully choose.
The power to save,
To those who believe;
Freeing from the grave,
Through faith they receive.
