'' Be Brave And Open That Door ''
As we get older,
Some become bolder,
Whilst others draw into their shell,
Some discard grudges while others let smoulder,
Why only they can tell.
Positivity reigns,
Negativity pains,
Circumstances dictate our behaviour,
As individuals we can make gains,
Our willpower can be our saviour.
While there's bad,
You also have sad,
Change is an ability to cherish,
Focusing on the future will make you feel glad,
Otherwise your aspirations will perish.
Actions mean deeds,
Consequences it feeds,
Is the outcome the one that you want?
Will you revel while your victim bleeds?
Or will your decision come back to haunt.
Hatred's a waste,
It can leave you disgraced,
It will destroy the whole concept of pleasure,
Never ever make decisions in haste,
Otherwise you'll repent at your leisure.
Don't do to others,
Your sisters and brothers,
What you wouldn't like done to yourself,
Remain humble but proud conceit is what smothers,
Leave your troubles stacked on a shelf.
We are designed,
In the main to be kind,
Though sometimes the opposite is true,
To others plights if you open your mind,
That person won't ever be you.
Look all around,
There's love to be found,
Not to seek it should be classed as a sin,
Your contribution can be really profound,
To find it you must look within.
We are given one chance,
Use it to enhance,
Your life and all those you adore,
Your knowledge can become a vast expanse,
