Where You Are

Where you are, is where I want to be.
To feel your touch, your warm embrace.
Your smile, it's so great to always see.
The way it brightens up your face.
Although it seems a bit to far.
I long to be where you are.

Where you are, please let me be.
Let me hear your voice so softly spoken.
The light in your eyes, I need to see.
Help cure the heart that remains broken.
I know you are beyond the furtherest star.
I need to be there, where you are.

Where you are, is where I need to be.
To hold your hand, touch your face.
Hear your laughter, to fill the need.
All that's left of you is just a trace.
I can feel you, so your not so far.
I need to be there, where you are.

Yes I truly need to be there, need to be.
I feel your comfort, I feel your love.
I can feel you but, you I cannot see.
Knowing your still caring from up above.
Still guiding me like a bright nights star.
I need to be there, where you are.
