Hear A Broken Heart

Could you listen to the sounds,
The beating of a broken heart.
Tear drops falling to the ground.
The crashing of a life falling apart.
A cry for help from one in despair.
A shaken voice not so far away.
One whose lost the will to care.
In a void lost and so afraid.
Can you see the pain seeping out.
Hurt that his hidden in deep emotion.
A pain that is a whisper not a shout.
Broken hearts cause no commotion.
Could you help what you can't see.
Save those in need; hold them near.
Could you see the signs that can't be seen.
Cure a broken heart you can't hear.
Could you stop the hands of fate,
Or just let them keep ticking by.
Intervene before its to late.
Wipe up the tears that cry.
Could you have the courage to try.
