the kestrel is a lovely bird i love to watch him fly
high up in the air as he hovers in the sky
looking for his prey as he flies around
then a mighty swoop as he takes it from the ground.
with his mighty talons his prey between his toes
holding really tightly back to his nest he goes
such a thing to watch and such a sight to see
this hunter of the skies brings so much joy to me
