The farmer who sows just a few,
Will not reap much when it is due;
And he just might not have enough,
To get through winter that is rough.
But the farmer who plants a lot,
God will bless for what he has got;
For the seed sown will multiply,
When to God he will magnify.
Blessings the farmer will receive,
For having faith for to believe;
The more you give you will get back,
God replenishes what you lack.
Give whatever that you decide,
In Him continue to abide;
God will ensure you do prosper,
If your righteousness is proper.
Never feel sorry forced to give,
A guilt feeling while you live;
Contribute as a believer,
Since God loves a cheerful giver.
God gives kindness that overflows,
Looking with favor for He knows;
When you are giving from the heart,
Remembering you freely part.
When you always have what you need,
You can do more good things indeed;
The size of your heart always shows,
The more each contribution grows.
The righteous will give to the poor,
Giving freely not as a chore;
And his righteousness not sever,
Rather it will last forever.
