As apostles of Christ,
We have the right to do;
Humbled and not enticed,
By desires that lure you.
We are gentle within,
Like caring for children;
Free of the guilt and sin,
Never to abandon.
I feel strong about you,
And determined to share;
Able to help you through,
To show that I do care.
Not only the Good News,
But also our lives;
Sharing with one you choose,
Loving husbands and wives.
You are also so dear,
Being sisters and brothers;
So I want to be clear,
About loving others.
Our work is not yet done,
With earning a living;
It barely has begun,
With so much forgiving.
I worked all night and day,
So I could deliver;
How to trust and obey,
And as a forgiver.
It can be a burden,
To rest on your shoulders;
You are bold and brazen,
Being Christian soldiers.
