The Worth of a Car

The worth of a parked car
is there for all to see,
Whether it runs or not
it still looks great to me.

The color seems to shine
even if it's old and dull,
The car that is antique
is the best kind of cool.

A place beside the shed
where it has gotten rest,
If the engine is replaced
it can pass the needed test.

No matter the condition
to me it remains the same,
It was once a treasure
when the driver gave it name.

The beauty of the sunset
looks great behind the car,
At night we reminisce
of the days when it went far.

May it run in peace again,
in the future may it ride,
Junk is but a memory
of the joys it once provide.
