The Morning Birds Were Silent Today

Try as I might, I wasn't able to hear the morning birds singing.
The gift was not mine to accept this morning from the Lord's hand.
I have to acknowledge that sometimes it is this way.
I have to be grateful for the other times I am able to hear them singing.
For these are the days when it seems to go better for me.
Hearing them sing gives a peace that is not known any other way.
I am fortunate and blessed to hear them the mornings I do.
For I may sometime have to lose my ability to hear and then the world will become totally silent.
I pray that the Lord will allow me to always be able to hear to know the songs that the birds will sing are meant for me to hear.
Rejoice; in the Lord, and His goodness for He gives everyday to us at some time or another.
He is a gracious God and One of Whom we can depend.
I am elated and overjoyed to know this about the Lord and to hear the beauty when I am able.
