Always be joyful in the Lord,
And always be in one accord;
Be joyful through every day,
Follow the Lord and do not stray.
Rejoice in the Lord our God,
Show Him that you honor and laud;
Worship Him as you do rejoice,
Praising Him lifting up your voice.
Let all know how thoughtful you are,
Illumine like a shiny star;
Let your forbearance known to all,
And respond to His summoned call.
The Lord is near He is at hand,
Listen for every command;
Never try to worry or fear,
Since the Lord is very sincere.
Face anxiety with the truth,
Never trying to be uncouth;
Be confident not overboard,
So you can stay in one accord.
Never worry on anything,
All situations God will bring;
Relief for the prayers you request,
In giving thanks to do your best.
Then the peace of God which goes,
Beyond understanding where flows;
Will guard your emotions and thought,
Through Jesus Christ whose blood had bought.
Keep your thoughts whatever is right,
Remember to walk in the light;
Do whatever is fair and pure,
Being spiritually mature.
So practice the things you have learned,
Through the knowledge that you have earned;
Then the peace of God is with you,
For helping and seeing you through.
