 I Once Was Blind But Now I See

The Understanding Lyle B.



There was a  man of greatness; in  my way of thinking that lived until last year.
He had an understanding heart about himself that always put me at ease.
I didn't have to be perfunctory or to use a façade to win his love.
He freely gave it and showed it to me every time we spoke on the phone.
There was a time when he and his lifetime partner came to see my dad and myself.
It was there the love was in real life for me to experience.
I cherish this time of being with them and will always as long as I have a memory retain it in my heart as being a good time.
The Lord blessed us with the meeting of the two of them and added years of happiness to my life with knowing them.
The understanding Lyle B. is exactly how I feel toward him though he is now gone away from us.
I do  hope that one day in the future I will be able to see him again and thank him for the love he had for me.
