Let the elders that rule well,
Counted worthy of respect;
Double in how they do dwell,
Honored within each aspect.
More so in teaching the Word,
For you not silent someone;
Who ensures that it is heard,
Of the Gospel of the Son.
An ox that is threshing grain,
Muzzle not as it performs;
For it could inflict some pain,
Getting done before it storms.
The worker deserves his pay.
More so with a job well done;
With his job he did obey,
Doing nothing forbidden.
Pay not any attention,
To an accusation;
Of elder intervention,
Into any fixation.
If witnessed by two or three,
Only then when they can prove;
Evidence of what they see,
Then you have grounds to remove.
Reprimand sinners that sin,
Before the congregation;
And that they must cleanse within,
For the abomination.
I solemnly call on you,
In the presence of the Lord;
That you always remain true,
Letting not Christ be ignored.
I support and encourage,
Wherever your angel goes;
To follow in your voyage,
Because of the fact God knows.
