Divine power has given you,
Everything that you can view;
All that we need for godliness,
Giving a life of blessedness.
Power as given through knowledge,
That causes you to encourage;
By His glory and unity,
That gives you more agility.
Through all of this He has given,
Unto us from up in Heaven;
Promises of the most value,
That you could ever construe.
Through these promises you will share,
In the divine nature with care;
Since you escaped the subversion,
Of such desired perversion.
Because of this make an effort,
That you faith does remain alert;
As well as increasing wisdom,
Been floating down from His kingdom.
To knowledge add self-control,
That will dwell deep within your soul;
To self=control add endurance,
With godliness for your defense.
To godliness add affection,
For protection from affliction;
And affection you will add love,
That Christ will send down from above.
If you have these they will increase,
Causing all hostilities to cease;
It shows the knowledge of the Lord,
And that you live in one accord.
Then you will have spiritual health,
And also be given the wealth;
Having the heavenly wisdom,
To enter the eternal kingdom.
