Resting Insured?

When you think of it, there is quite a selection
Of ways to offer the guise of protection:
There's disaster insurance when upheavals cause strife;
There are many types that cover your life.
There's auto insurance to protect your car;
There's trip insurance when you travel far.
We have insurance that covers our health
And business insurance to protect our wealth.
There's burial insurance for when you die;
There's the overdraft type when your account runs dry.
Property insurance protects your house,
And there's divorce insurance for you and your spouse.
I.D. protection secures your identity,
And credit insurance is a useful entity.
Liability insurance protects physicians;
Aviation insurance covers certain conditions.
Terrorism insurance might be handy,
And builders' risk insurance is dandy.
There's insurance coverage for your pet;
There's a kidnap and ransom type, too; so don't fret.
Pianists sometimes insure their hands--
Singers their voices, farmers their lands.
With so many insurance premiums to pay,
How could one afford to live day to day?
There's something for every condition and occurrence;
But ULTIMATELY there is NO insurance.
