I'm a great believer in this
I believe kids are our future
That sports rather than gangs
Well make this country stronger
I haven't much but help the poor
So I was conned--possibly
But I saw this girl at the bank machine
She had no gas to get home
The bank was closed and she had to come inside
I had five dollars about to put it in a lottery
I gave it to her and probably conned
We had a garage sale
Anything a kid picked up was free
The game was a double header 90 degrees
I gave the concession stand a twenty
Between games bring ice water to kids
I arrived home opened the mail
When my step dad died a hundred years old
There wouldn't be much left no will
So here was a suprise--in 1957 a policy
Unexpected and out of the blue
I have no idea how much, but what goes
around well eventually come back
Anything I give away is replaced
And I thank you Mom in Heaven
If it is a small policy it gave meaning
To what goes around come around
And meaning to being kind to others
