The end of everything is near,
And many nonbelievers may fear;
As they are feeling just like the toad,
Who attempts to cross the busy road.
Therefore try to practice self-control,
Which will be very good for your soul;
Making sure that you keep your mind clear,
While the Lord is bending His ear.
Bending His ear as you are praying,
Shows you are humbled and obeying;
And it shows your love for each other,
Warmly for your sister and brother.
Love is covering over many sins,
And where Christianity begins;
If you love you cannot lie or cheat,
Since you do not have any deceit.
You must use the gift God had given,
Onto you as brought down from Heaven;
Using the time and energy best,
Welcoming another as your guest.
Be a good manager of your gift,
Using for others as to uplift;
Speak to them as spoken from the Word,
Just as if Jesus was being heard.
Whoever serves must serve with the strength,
That God gives to persevere the length;
That in every way God receives,
The glory of Jesus as one believes.
For the glory and the power are owned,
By Jesus Christ that has been enthroned;
Over Heaven and earth forever,
In which Satan can never sever.
