I Once Was Blind But Now I See
The Morning Birds Have Flown Away
In Cherry Point Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation we have an aviary.
Populated with birds of various orders are caged within the structure.
Not only are the birds outside my bedroom window but inside the place I currently live.
It seems they have all flown away and left an empty aviary.
But the truth is the opposite of course.
It only seems so for I haven't been able to hear any birds singing.
It was so comforting for my being able to hear the morning birds.
Allowing the freedom I felt to be a part of me is no longer possible.
At least not for a time.
The Lord always knows what He is doing and what He wants us to have.
If He wishes to hide the birds from me then He will and there is nothing anyone can do to change it.
The morning birds have flown away from us for a time but will be returning.
One can only hope the next day will be a better day for them being here with us.
I will continually praise the Lord for the many times I did hear them sing.
For the Lord will not keep His gift to Himself too much longer but will share.
