NO SIGN OF RAIN
I'm hot and miserable,
I'm hot and miserable,
Clothes stuck to my skin;
Can barely breathe,
What a fix I'm in!
I Wanna shed my clothes,
But can't walk around nude;
Even in this heat,
Bare flesh would be lewd.
Look up at the sky,
Hoping for rain;
Just a few scattered drops
Would surely ease this pain.
But no sign of water,
So I follow my nose;
Have to get relief
From my garden hose.
Can barely breathe,
What a fix I'm in!
I Wanna shed my clothes,
But can't walk around nude;
Even in this heat,
Bare flesh would be lewd.
Look up at the sky,
Hoping for rain;
Just a few scattered drops
Would surely ease this pain.
But no sign of water,
So I follow my nose;
Have to get relief
From my garden hose.
