A Woman I Know
By Cynthia L.B. Bogear
A rose dew kissed and soft,
Petals like silk.
A soft reminder,
Of a woman I know.
Shimmering like the moonlight,
Glistening across the ocean water,
Reflecting a gentle touch,
Of a woman I know.
Strong like the hurricane wind,
Soft like the gentle breeze,
Just a few reminders,
Of a woman I know.
She's bold like the summer nights,
Her laugh feels a room like a sweet perfume,
Her heart kind and warm,
A simple woman I know.
Her love is sweet,
Her heart a given,
A few simple things,
Of a woman I know.
I love this woman,
She's more than a friend,
She's a sister,
And more than a woman I know.
