UNSTIRRED

UNSTIRRED

Unstirred, they chose to raise their silence.
Flambeau and dark walls couldn't get even
with clanging swords and thundering hoofs…

Unleash the time when men fought like beasts
and crave for power as strong and intense
as magic…the witchy spells
and wizard charms, when goblins screech

in the shadows,when elves dance
and hide beneath the trees, and fairies tarry,
warming themselves after a cold

night rain. Who can get enough
when life becomes unsacred? and greed
like the green-eyed monster arising

from the reeds ready to devour
its prey. A crown and scepter
shimmering as gold but reigns in darkness

where the fierce dragon lay
awaiting redemption.
