The Only Way I Can Speak

poetry337myrelease
I try to throw hints your way, my aiming must be terrible
What do I have to say? How to explain this parable?
I am supposed to be your wife, though all I wear is a ring
Am I more than a puzzle piece in your life? More than a puppet on strings?
I know I can never be equal to you, even if I always tried
How can I feel worthy of you? And still feel you have things to hide.
You say you love me, I believe this to be true
Everyone can see, with the things that you do
But when it's just me and you, you don't do the little things that I need
I feel selfish I do, how can I feel this greed?
Buts it's not about not fulfilling my self, it's about my worth in your eyes
You have all this wealth, makes what I have to offer die.
You are just too good for me on a comparison chart, Your look at me that way
But no matter how many time you break my heart, I will still stay.
