'' Soon We Will All Be Dead ''

Would humans be missed?
If we didn't exist,
Would all other life forms thrive?
From killing each other would they desist?
In their battle just to survive.

Would they be willing?
To stop all the killing,
The simple answer is no,
It's death from birth that natures instilling,
Every species barbarity would show.

Nature is cruel,
With murder it's full,
That I'm afraid is it's way,
These barbarous acts are but natures tool,
Peace among them doesn't hold any sway.

It has a certain ring,
Survival is king,
But I'm afraid it's only the truth,
Misery I know is what it will bring,
But they don't see it as being uncouth.

They must eat and drink,
With us there's that link,
Without doing so everything would die,
Plants and animals do they also think,
Or doesn't intelligence apply.

A population boom,
Would mean no more room,
Food and water would soon disappear,
The trees and the flowers would no longer bloom,
Soon they'd be living in fear.

We're all sisters and brothers,
Who must care for others?
Without each other it has to be said,
If we do not our existence it smothers,
