Tell me dear of long lost love
Whisper soft what's still thought of
A taste of wine upon your lips
Precious, long gone treasured once gift
Here this day you play upon
Heart strings of old of days bygone
That strike the need remembered well
Just one of many whispers tell
Tell me how your days without
A gentle kiss much thought about
A scent of you perfumed, your own
This too my dear upon soul sown
Though these days became the past
They gave me hope and still outlast
The loss that came to be this day
As autumn nears with yesterdays
It goes beyond the I miss you
The once just there of you I knew
The walks in hand of yours still held
The reasons why In love I fell
There are many whispers this day
They came to ear that in me pray
A prayer prayed that in me seeks
This whisper yours that grew knees weak
Whisper again…..
Whisper again
