A Letter From Dylan

This is a poem for a lovely lad called Dylan, who ended his life too soon at the age of 17, This is from him to his family through me. He would be 18 on the 17/10/2014. God rest his soul. We never know the pain people suffer. I have never met this boy, but he was handsome, muscular, tall dark and good looking with the startling blue eyes of his mother Annmarie. God help them to deal with the sorrow. xxx

My dearest loving family
I have come back to say
I am so very sorry
That I left you that day
Life just lost it`s being cool
But I was such a bloody fool
Mum I know you`re broken-hearted
We should not have ever parted
But I want you all to know
The pain has gone, I love you so.
Ashley, Kenzie, Alisha, Zach.
Be good, be strong, stay right on track
Sandy thanks for being there
Dad I know now you did care
Nan remember no more sorrow
Live each moment of tomorrow
I can`t explain my empty soul
But I can tell you now, I`m whole
Please - no blame - For I am free
To guard you all at last-I`m me.
Please think of me as just the same
Except I am no longer lame
I see you all as life moves on
Sometimes I shine a light upon
Your faces as you sleep at night
Tuck you in and hug you tight
Mum I`ll always be your lad
And I love you too my dad
I love you all and smile with joy
No tears, no more, I`m still - your boy.
Dylan I will always be
Right throughout eternity
And one day we`ll all meet again
Hugs and kisses until then.
