Just interjected the odd aye


Patiently waiting


Until by and by


A break would occur


And the other would start


To talk and


A swapping of parts


Would amicably take place


And in this way


In single sided converse


Each would have their say


They were the best of friends


But to me it seemed absurd


That they both spoke in turn


But neither of them really heard
