 UnspokenDreams

What If

Will you come back for me if I wait?
Or will it all be in vain; will it be too late?
What if you reject me and leave me behind?
What if I'm fooling myself; what if I'm blind?

What if you forget me? What will I do?
How will I get over finally losing you?
What if forever I'm watching without getting near?
What if future reality is my current fear?

What if you don't love me any longer?
What if your memory of me fades whilst mine's growing stronger?
What if I never again feel your embrace?
How will I feel never again kissing your face?

How will my hand feel never again holding yours?
Is this really it for us, Is this last doors?
What if you walk away and never look back?
Will I ever love again? I really doubt that.

Please don't forget me I pray every night,
Hoping fate will ensure everything turns out right,
I love you I miss you and my heart it cold,
Aching and breaking without you to hold.

What if you get used to life without me?
What if I become just a long distant memory?
I don't know what the future holds but right now I know,
Whilst I still have some hope I'll never let go.
