I Once Was Blind But Now I See
When the World Stopped Lyle B. Began
When the world stopped for me; in allowing me to be happy Lyle came to the front and helped me.
He gave of himself to me and shared his life with me so many times.
Though he is gone and not of this earth any longer the thought of him is there.
For there is no reason not to remember Lyle for all he did for me.
He bought me things as did his lifetime partner.
He cooked confections for me for Christmas two years; in a row.
There are many things he shared with me that I never knew before.
All these things were mine because of what he has done.
I will long remember him and the joy that is mine because of him.
There is a void today within my life but having Lyle within my heart helps me.
I am the one who is blessed and he is the one who is cherished above all others except for his lifetime partner.
