a hill becomes a mountain till®
An Angel wrote my life story,
thru the ink that touched the writer's quill!
Now In Heaven he lives without me,
my life story started once upon a hill!
Once upon a hill is all it took,
Heavensent Reinged!
My life's an open book,
My Heart Ordained!
Once i laid eyes upon the author back then,
Love was all that we could see!
Now i can't begin to live again,
read between the lines it's not a mystery!
Now that hill has become a mountain,
i can never climb no way!
but when(i)Get To Heaven,
{ i'll come alive that day }
Here's the hill,
we built a life and loved on!
Now i haven't for life the will
even the trees are sadly gone!
His 1st Jeep Sat Here,
i can picture it in its space!
He didn't even have it a year,
collapsed beside it and that stillness i face!
In the still of the day and night,
my heart stopped then as you know!
But i'm not really here a ghost so white,
i wish to hell in the ground i'd go!
You can just hear the steel guitar weep,
no longer at his radio to sit and turn it up loud!
Oh how i long to just stay asleep,
{ and be whisked away to his angel cloud }
I will say this,
loud and clear i'm still down here Dear!
Still waiting for you to come home and kiss,
my mountain away So Missed Our Hill Of Bliss!
With My Angel At The Wheel,
i'll hitch a rainbow ride!
And away from here i'll peel,
and scrape away tears i've cried and cried and cried!
