I see them like dazzling stars from afar
dancing, as the arc of gold
slowly touches the slumbering blue sea.
I am stunned as frothy waters kiss the shore
and lingering seagulls finally soar their way back home.
Tattered rose petals may have drifted with the waves
But aimlessly, my soul
bullied by the arrogance of fate,
fathomless as the sea,
The horizon endless,
and dreams shattered
into myriads of illusion
undeciphered,
unknown.
