Senior Save Me

No, sir, I know you not
But still I know your heart
I was lucky just to see you
Before your time of leaving

Is it silly that I'll miss you?
You were only here for so long
And yet I wish you'd stay
For simply one more year

Respectful is your presence
In the lives of other people
Letting everyone in
Bringing everyone close
Even me

But no, sir, I know you not
This moment was so short
Only lasting long enough
For me to see that you'll be gone

Just one more time
Look delighted just to see
A girl you're unfamiliar with
But smile to all the same
