His friends are all of mixed races
Made the mistake of going to the restroom alone
It was in a major downtown park
Jumped, robbed, by five,racial slurred words said
I won't repeat what he was called
My friend was driving home from work
A car pulled up and shot him dead
It was a racial killing
My friend does not own a stolen gun
This week there was robbing and looting
A tiny boy was killed chased down by a cop
What would the reaction be?
Run to the streets and loot
What do the local reporter's say
Here's one: On a color line
We shouldn't have to worry
It is proven they are killing their own
90 percent of the time
I worry the other ten percent
And many of their own are my friends
The racial thing is the response is on a color line
All races should be incensed
at the rise of crime and killings
I know what we should do--make drugs legal?
Has this generation gone crazy?
A week later in Kent Washington
A Cadillac pulled in sideways blocking
The entrance of a gas station
Yes it was racial they were gang members
Asked to move they shot and killed the station attendants
The were being disrespectful
Respect is earned, I respect my veteran brothers
Yes there is a problem with race and it begins at home
