The Raven Chair
When I sat down
and decided to write
it all down- it was as
the raven chair.
What was loud and
made all sorts of noise
incoherent and choiceless.
Behind the facade of comfort
lies the strangeness of madness,
that rocking back and forth.
I know the raven's cry.
I know the raven as it flies.
But perhaps as I rock back
and forth I have it down pat.
But the true dilema might
be what is not at hand.
