Welcome to My life in the shadows

QUESTIONS

How beautiful are spacious skies
When dreams are no longer allowed
To mingle with stars?
When amber waves of grain
And fruited plains
Are left only for environmentalist?
Where is morality
When it can no longer be taught
In our schools?
Why has it not been chosen
To teach what we believe
Instead of someone’s
Imagined history, a theory
At best
That from animals we came?
And then I ask
Each time it happens,
Should it be such a surprise
When our children act as one?
Animals I mean.
When Jesus was on his cross
Suffering from our pain,
From our sins
He prayed for our forgiveness,
And for those
Who butchered him,
Those who hammered the nails in.
That they
Had known not what they had done.
As we contemplate our path,
Our pain,
Our eternal weight
On the roa to our cross- -

From where will our pain
And our prayers come?
