Kathy, thank you beyond words.
Thank you so very much for putting the word out
to her fellow poets whom she loved dearly.
I wasn't sure how to get ahold of everyone.
The comments and poems here by everyone are touching and wonderful
and I am so grateful that you all shared great memories with her.
These brought joyful tears to my eyes.
Poetry truly had become her passion and I'm finding many books,
CDs, and handwritten poems all over.
She must have written thousands of poems in the last 10 years.
She spoke of you all often and you truly made
her happy and brought joy to her life with your daily interaction.

Bless you and thank you.  As Mom would say "Aloha Nui Loa" ~ All My love in Hawaiian.
She was blessed to have you all as dear friends and I am amazed at the number of people
she reached with her words, and I know she loved reading yours ~ I am sure she is looking down
on you and everyone smiling that you are
remembering her and she is in a resting in a wonderful place.
Thank you for your kind words and keep the prayers coming.
Love, MaryDennise

I then sent her the feedbacks (love notes)  I received on my site for her. There are many of them.

I ask her if it would be alright for me to post her email on the message board.

here is her answer.

Dear Kathy,
Wonderful, thank you for these as well.
Yes, you can absolutely share my letter on the message board.
You all truly brought so much joy to her life.
She spoke of you all often and her face lit up when she spoke of her poetry friends.
She did go peacefully and quickly  at home
with family by her side and it is exactly the way she would have wanted it.
She is likely writing away in heaven, more of her beautiful poetry and praying for all of her poet friends
along with her family and friends she left behind.
I feel her spirit with us and I feel her giving me strength to go on.
The postings and comments you have shared by everyone are so beautiful,
I knew she touched many lives, but not to the extent of what I see now.  Thank you again!
Love to all,
MaryDennise

I forgot to add this about Janie.  This is what MaryDennise wrote to me about her death.

"Yes, and I know some have asked how she passed/what happened. She just hadn't been feeling well of recent but didn't want to see a doctor. She had some stomach pains for two days before she passed and the coroner said that in women it is not uncommon to have stomach pains or traveling pains (other than chest or arm pains) which are a series of small myocardial infarctions (mild heart attacks) which she mistook for a stomach ache, and she was taking over the counter medicine for it. Then all of those mild attacks were building up to one major heart attack that took her life. Thankfully she was not in extreme pain at the time and she went quickly. She was even in good spirits and we were talking and joking and she had been smiling and had a peaceful look on her beautiful face.  I'll never forget her beautiful brown eyes always filled with love. I was blessed to have been talking with her those last  couple of hours and that my dad was by her side as well. Her worst fear was to be hospitalized or go to hospice and suffer long before she passed when her time came, so bless her heart she definitely went the way she wanted to, the good Lord answered her prayers.
she was a private person but she would want her friends to know she went peacefully and her final wishes to be put to rest at home on Maui are being honored.
I know she kept many of you in prayers and we appreciate all the prayers being sent our way."
